PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE

Bentuk : Had + been + doing

Kegunaan :

Past Perfect Continuous Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kegiatan yang sudah berlangsung selema beberapa saat di waktu lampau. Tense ini umumnya menyatakan kegiatan/peristiwa berdurasi di waktu lampau.

Pola : S + had + been + Ving + for….. + when + S + V2

Contoh :

We had been playing for half an hour when there was a terrible storm.
